NOW Canada receives funding from the Regional District of Central Okanagan for the Residential Safe Home Program. The Regional District has continued to partner with NOW again this year to provide generous funding to allow women and youth the opportunity to leave a life on the streets of our region. It is virtually impossible to leave an unsafe and unhealthy lifestyle without safe and secure accommodation. Without this program and the ongoing financial assistance from the Regional District, many women and youth would still be living in addiction and in unsafe situations in our community. - May 2013
