“Swing Away for United Way” was a totally enjoyable event! Karen Erickson CFP (Division Director & Senior Financial Consultant, Investors Group Financial Services Inc.) was the driving force behind this event which raised money for the United Way and as well, brought donations of pjs, toiletries, slippers, books and cash to NOW Canada. Karen, who is a member of the Board of Directors at the United Way has been putting on this event for a number of years and a couple of years ago, expanded its fundraising capacity to include NOW Canada. An afternoon of golf clinics certainly helped many people’s golf swing – and also raised much needed cash and donations for our community. - May 2013
